Rosemary and Rue Pendant Sale

These pendants are made from an ARC of Rosemary and Rue by Seanan McGuire, and each is signed on the back by the author herself. (Of course I also happen to think they are just one of the nicest batches I've made so far, too, whether you're a fan of the book or not.)

Pendants are $24 and mailing is included in the price. If you get more than one pendant I will adjust mailing cost when I invoice you.

To purchase pendants email chimerasale@gmail.com with the subject line "Rosemary and Rue".

There is ONE pendant left...the one I made in Seanan McGuire's own Pumpkin Princess colors.

Oh man, i wish i was paid this week instead of next. :) My favorites are night's magic and guide me home! I love the way the first two look but then i'm wicked partial to glitter! I'm excited to see what the rest will look like. Thank you for making these!

Oh wow, I'm actually wearing my pendant now... and just looking at these is making me want more.

A friend of mine actually strung a beautiful beaded necklace for me with the pendant, and I'm now wearing it non-stop! Your creations are beautiful, and these especially so... I'm drawn to the talk of faeries, magic, and night. ^_^

Thank you.

I'm working on some brooches now, so we'll see how those turn out...

Oooh, brooches...

How are you planning to attach the front to the pin, if you don't mind me asking? I tried making brooches with shells and a hot glue gun once, and the glue wasn't strong enough to withstand day to day abuse.

Hot glue is a pain. There are several craft glues that work very well, and with the ceramic and the metal, superglue might actually be a good choice. I'm playing with several broken pieces right now to figure that out.

Huh, it never occurred to me to use superglue. I'll have to go back and play with it; this was years ago and now that I've reminded myself of the idea, I want to go back and find a way to make it work.

When you've posted them all are you going to put up all the pictures of the ones you've sold?

I understand perfectly why you're taking them out now but I'll probably be asleep when you post the next batch, and I still want to be able to see what they look like, because I'm sure they'll be gorgeous.

I shall post a link to where the whole batch can be seen, yes.

There will be one more post tomorrow morning, too. :)

This makes me so happy, my one sadness was that the first time I was able to log on today, I'd already missed being able to see some of them at all!

The one about glass roses and tasting your first scars...

I've already emailed you that I have to have it, so I hope it is actually still available.

I used to be, and still identify as a cutter. I started self-injury when I was 11 to deal with abuse at home and school. I have a lot of scars.

I also hate getting cut flowers. Watching something that represents happiness and even love, wither and die has always been horribly depressing to me.

When my husband and I got together almost five years ago. Sometime around when we handfasted, he gave me a blue glass rose because he wanted to give me something that was meaningful, beautiful, and unique...like me, he said. He then proceeded to kiss all my old scars and tell me how beautiful I was.

I'm glad it will have meaning for you! I love it when people find the pendant that is just *theirs*.

I came too late, but I just wanted to express my *love* of "I dream my way through the maze of pretty fictions". It's perfect.
